Traditional measuring methods and instruments are not always suitable for checking the characteristics of tapered roller bearing, inner diameter or outer diameter of cylindrical roller bearing. SKF can provide solutions for this. SKF has a series of gauges to meet the measurement requirements of cylindrical roller bearings with tapered holes. Of course, these gauges can also be used in other applications. GRA 30 series ring gauges and DMB taper gauges are used to measure the most common conical seat. The measurement process is rapid and accurate. Ring gauge can only be used to measure the bearing size of the conical seat, while the DMB series cone rule applies to a variety of diameter and taper outside the 1:12 measurement. In order to accurately adjust the radial internal clearance or preload in the installation of cylindrical roller bearings with tapered holes, the inner diameter or outer diameter of the roller group must be measured accurately. SKF GB 30 and GB 49 series gauges can be used to simply and accurately measure the above points.
