Y usually refers to the bearing insert type bearing, is based on the 62 and 63 series of sealed deep groove ball bearing design, but with a convex outer ring, and in most cases, the inner ring width extends with locking device to some extent, can be quickly and easily mounted to the shaft.
Y bearings are supplied in single or unit. The Y bearing unit comprises a bearing seat, a bearing and a pre assembled and grease lubricated seal in the plant. These snap in units can withstand a certain degree of misalignment (animation), but usually do not cause axial displacement on the shaft.
